The 208 recipients represent nearly 54 percent of IUP's 386 total student-athletes which is well above the PSAC-wide average of 45 percent. Student-athletes who maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 upon completion of the 2019-20 academic year are eligible for selection.

For the fourth straight year, the IUP Athletic Department posted a new school record as 208 student-athletes earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) scholar-athlete distinction for the 2019-20 academic year.
